Impacting the communities we work in.

Outside the four walls, MOCA donates, contributes and takes part. Wherever we run a site there are families around it, and the organizations that support them are the ones we back.

We donate

Direct financial support, so the people doing the work can plan past the next month.

We contribute

Equipment, materials and the hands to set up whatever a space or an event needs.

We show up

MOCAnos and their families take part through the year, not just at the fundraiser.

We support Downside Up.

Downside Up Inc. is a Chattanooga non-profit, established in 2013, that grew out of the Down syndrome community and today walks alongside families raising children with disabilities. In their own words, a family for families.

We work with Impaktemos.

Impaktemos is a Venezuelan non-profit that runs educational programs as a way out: vocational training that puts women into work, tutoring for children with no access to a classroom, and literacy work with the Wayúu communities. We work alongside them: we fund what they are setting up, we send equipment when equipment is what is missing, and we stay in the conversation between one project and the next.

When the earthquakes hit Venezuela, that partnership put Starlink connectivity in the hands of relief teams on the ground and backed the emotional recovery work for the children who lived through it.
